Gaylord Box FAQs

What is a Gaylord box?

A Gaylord box is a large corrugated bulk container, also called an octabin or bulk bin, that sits on a pallet to ship or store loose product in volume. They are widely used for bulk parts, granules, recycling, and agricultural goods.

What sizes and wall types are available?

UWP supplies Gaylord boxes in standard 40x48 and 48x48 footprints with single-, double-, or triple-wall construction. Wall thickness is chosen by load weight and stacking needs; heavier or stacked loads call for double or triple wall.

Do you offer new and used Gaylord boxes?

Yes. UWP stocks both new and used Gaylord boxes. Used boxes lower cost for less demanding applications, while new boxes offer maximum strength and cleanliness for heavier loads or food and product-contact uses. Request a quote for current availability.
